ABOUT

THE FAIR

3rd edition of the Salon de l’Oeuvre Originale Numérotée (contemporary editions art fair) at the Bastille Design Center from December 1st to 3rd 2017!

Two successful editions have made SOON PARIS a key event for contemporary multiple artwork. Visitors can explore contemporary creation through pieces presented by approximately thirty international galleries and fine-art limited editions fabricators.

The selection of exhibitors by an independent art committee provides a remarkable opportunity to see new creations by recognized and by emerging artists. Books, videos, jewelry and many other kinds of objects are presented at the Bastille Design Center in Paris.

The Bastille Design Center’s size and layout make it a perfect venue for the event. Works can be shown in spaces with or without partitions according to display preferences. The venue’s urban loft ambiance encourages interaction between exhibitors, visitors, and artists.

PROGRAMME 2017 – DECEMBER 1st to 3rd

EXHIBITORS 2017

Galleries and publishers present books, videos, jewelry and many other kinds of objects.

EXHIBITION OF THE ARTHOTEQUE DE CAEN ON SOON PARIS

“The Artothèque de Caen’s exemplary commitment to disseminating art has already lasted 30 years. As well as lending an array of works, Caen’s ‘art library’ has also developed the means for their production.

A selection of pieces which they have produced will be presented at SOON PARIS, thereby highlighting the Arthothèque’s forward-looking nature. It is a place of interaction and of artistic creation […] Many kinds of objects other than unique prints on paper will be exhibited, including Christophe Cuzin’s ‘carpets’ (tapis) and Joël Hubaut’s ‘disc-object’ (disque-objet).”
Philippe Piguet, Artistic Director

SOON PARIS AWARD

We hope to strengthen the position of art prints and to enable artists to explore this medium by using its means to create. They can thereby enhance their experience of multiple artwork.

Our award’s committee includes three R.L.D representatives: its head, Corinne Dutrou, the workshop’s manager, Christian Mameron, and the collection director, Sébastien Desalt. Alongside them, the managing executives of SOON PARIS plus three further committee members, chosen for their skills and interest in contemporary art and publishing, will jointly nominate the candidates.
