Galerie l’Art à la Page

Stand B9

Zoom / Projet : Franziska Neubert

L’Art à la Page, since its creation in 1990, presents and follows artists working “for books” while developing a strong personal work on drawing, painting, prints or volumes.
L’Art à la Page created in 2006 a publishing department that edits monographs, texts on the memory of artwork and catalogs of the artists’ productions.
We chose to highlight Franziska Neubert, a German artist born in 1977. Graduated from the Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst in Leipzig and the National School of Decorative Arts in Paris, she shares her work between artists’ books, “literary illustrations” and “free work” – essentially linocuts and woodcuts. Its principal themes are the city and urban landscapes, industrial buildings, the incursion of built into the landscape … Her work is regularly exhibited in Germany where she lives and also abroad.

The gallery also exhibits works of Delphine Grenier and Thomas Perino :

Delphine Grenier, graduated from the School of Decorative Arts in Strasbourg, author, plasticienne and performer, experiments varied graphic universes. We present her latest project around the theme of tango, with an artist’s book and prints.

Thomas Perino, artist from the School of the Beaux Arts in Paris, works around themes rich in symbols (Alice in Wonderland ; sacred and medieval art ; …) ; with a quite particular interest for the architecture of the image and winks to the art nouveau and the decorative art.
